Waverley Paddle Steamer

Shrieking seagulls and lone piper seranade Waverley as she paddle steams her way alongside the pier - holiday doon the water - chips in newspaper, freshly baked bread and knickerbocker glories!

Dunoon ~ Scotland

  1. Thanks so much for your visit to my blog. I appreciate you stopping by and taking the time to share!

  2. You're welcome Shannon, it was my pleasure.

  3. Chips, freshly baked bread & knickerbocker glory - I'm hungry now (and I only just had breakfast, lol).

I like the lone piper & seagulls serenading the steamer. Match that with the food, other descriptions & clever use of 'doon' and I get a wonderful vivid image. Fab!

    Kat :-)

  4. Thank you Kat! We were brought up in Glasgow and we loved those holidays 'doon' the Clyde. :)

Thank you for dropping by. Have a lovely day!
